Xavier is a Global Ambassador located in Garza Garcia, Mexico specializing in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions. Xavier spent several years in the Mexican Energy Practice with McKinsey & Company, providing leadership on several projects including the Privatization of the Mexican Electricity Sector, corporate restructuring ofa leading Mexican Conglomerate, and the development of a Water Distribution Strategy for the Government of Mexico.
Xavier was formerly the Planning Manager ofthe VersaxGroup (A Division of Grupo Alfa) where he managed the strategic and financial planning of various manufacturing and retail subsidiaries. While a Versax, Xavier restructured and negotiated the company’s debt facilities and conducted several M&A negotiations, including the acquisition of the Ford Motor Company Canadian Casting Operations division by Nemak, a subsidiary of Versax.
Most recently, Xavier was appointed VP of Planning & Finance at Gard Corporation and he serves on the Board of Directors for International Mattresses and Renacimiento, a manufacturing company and a real-estate development project respectively. Xavier received an M.I.M. from Thunderbird — The Garvin School of International Management and a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from ITESM.
