Bill is a Global Ambassador specializing in new entity start-ups and turnarounds. Bill has over 43 years of international business experience in over 80 countries, ranging from project evaluation, turn-key start-ups and management, finance, trading, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, to government relations. As Regional Manager of Rohm and Haas Company, Bill managed the 23-country region in the Caribbean, Central America, and northern South America, and established and served as managing Director of the Venezuelan subsidiary. He has also held various senior level executive and consulting positions in the petroleum sector with companies such as Amerada Hess, Tesoro Petroleum, Trinidad-Tobago Oil Company, Powerine Oil Company, and Amorient Petroleum Company (Mitsubishi).
Bill has substantial experience as an international executive consultant, delivering solutions to foreign governments and companies in the oil and shipping industries and in desert agriculture. Past projects include: evaluating, funding, and bidding for a 2,300 square kilometer natural gas production concession in Eastern Europe; developing a container cargo business for Nina, ApS between the Dominican Republic and Florida; assisting a management changeover and revising the Wholesale Petroleum Marketing Division of Isla Dominicana de Petroleos; developing and managing OFFSET projects for McDonnell Douglas Helicopter, Lockheed Martin and GIAT in the United Arab Emirates; developing a hard currency trade finance project in the newly-privatized Russian petroleum sector for the rehabilitation of oilfield properties and refineries; evaluating and privatizing an oilfield tool manufacturer in Romania; development of a specialty agricultural crop production and export marketing project in the Arabian Peninsula; and many others.
Bill has a B.S. in Agriculture with a minor in Chemistry from the California State Polytechnic University and a graduate degree in International Business from Thunderbird — The Garvin School of International Management, graduating with the Founder’s Award – Outstanding Graduate. Bill also served during and after the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force as a jet fighter pilot.
