Based in New York City, Melinda is a Global Ambassador of Navigate International. Melinda offers clients proven expertise in global marketing, advertising and sales management, in addition to cross-cultural communication training. For the past 11 years, Melinda has directed corporate strategies to develop international markets for leading consumer products companies and advertising agency networks. She provides a global perspective on branding, retailing, pricing, sourcing and product development. Melinda offers clients in-depth expertise on managing international advertising agency networks and developing regional and global advertising campaigns. With first-hand experience in several major global markets, she also has extensive experience doing business in Latin America, Europe, Japan and India.

Melinda held senior-level marketing positions in the international departments of leading consumer products companies, including L’Oreal, Gillette and Del Laboratories. She successfully guided the international development of corporate subsidiaries, joint-venture affiliates and distributors. In addition, Melinda was an integral part of the acquisition and integration of cosmetic manufacturers in Latin America. Melinda has also worked in the international advertising industry as an international business development manager. At Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising’s Latin American headquarters, she was a key player in the acquisition and integration of advertising agencies in Mexico, Argentina and Peru. Melinda is also an educator, teaching global marketing at the college level in New York City.

Melinda received her M.B.A. from Thunderbird — The Garvin School of International Management. She also earned a B.A. in Advertising, and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Melinda’s foreign language proficiency includes Spanish, Portuguese and French.
