Carron is a Global Ambassador located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands specializing in European competitive intelligence and new market entry strategies for the financial services and software industries. Carron has developed a unique fluency in cross-border and cross-cultural business management and is experienced in business development on both a U.S. national and global level. Carron’s experience in new ventures spans a broad range of industries and products including financial services, software, and the automotive sectors.
Carron’s successful career includes senior management positions with leading financial services companies such as ABN AMRO Bank and Charles Schwab . As the Senior Sales Manager of ABN AMRO’s International Cash Management Unit for Corporate Clients, Carron managed a sales force in 53 countries. While at Charles Schwab, she and her five-person team were responsible for launching the AdvisorSource program, a referral service to independent investment advisors that brought in $2 billion in new assets in its first year. As a consultant, Carron has assisted Dutch and American clients in defining their brand, launching new service lines and bring their activity costs to a minimum.
Carron has an M.B.A. in International Management from Thunderbird — The Garvin School of International Management and an undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts (directing). She has worked and lived in the U.S., Germany, The Netherlands and the Czech Republic and has participated in a broad range of senior level management development programs in the U.S. and Europe. Carron speaks Dutch, German and English and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Czech.
