Tak is a Global Ambassador located in Tokyo, Japanspecializing in financial advisory services and local operations of foreign firms .  Tak’s diverse experience in the investment banking, consulting and hardware/software industries has led him to gain a deep understanding of both the strategic and operational aspects of various business models.

Tak served on M&A project teams for AIG’s acquisition of Chiyoda Life and the merger of Roche’s Japanese subsidiary and Chugai Pharmaceuticals while at Goldman Sachs, as well as performing financial advisory services for clients primarily in the technology, pharmaceutical, and financial industries.  As senior marketing specialist at Microsoft, Tak co-managed the research and competitive analysis initiatives at the Xbox Division before becoming a founding member of the Business Planning Department where he crafted sales and marketing plans for the next generation game console.  Tak’s consulting experience includes assisting aU.S.firm in the incorporation and initial operations of its Japanese subsidiary and helping a Japanese e-commerce firm establish its market research operations.

Tak received a B.S. in Economics from the WhartonSchool of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy from AmericanPacificUniversity.  He holds the CPA, CMA, and CFM certifications in theU.S., as well as various Japanese certifications ranging from system administration to business law.  He has lived in the U.S., Japan, and Taiwan, and is fluent Japanese and English and proficient in French.
