Amy Leverson is a Consultant for Navigate International’s Manufacturing Practice. Located in Denver, CO, she specializes in integrating corporate strategy with new product development and R& portfolio management. From the factory floor to the boardroom, Amy has a solid track record in the development of corporate strategy and opportunity assessment for new global markets. Amy’s experience in identifying and implementing business plans for game changing and profitable new product opportunities spans a broad range of geographies, industries, and products including data storage, building materials, magnetic media, pavement maintenance, and surgical accessories.
Amy’s successful career includes management positions with several Fortune 500 companies such as 3M, Imation, Berkshire Hathaway and Owens Corning. As the Global Manager responsible for the worldwide implementation of a project management system for 3M Company, Amy built the capability to develop and manage R&D product development portfolios to meet the immediate, mid- & long-term objectives of the businesses on a global basis. In her role as Business Development Manager at both Imation and Johns Manville, Amy identified, prioritized new product development activities, and gained consensus to support programs with significant commercial success. As a Product Manager trained in Design for Six Sigma, Amy has initiated quality and productivity improvement programs on the manufacturing floor.
Amy has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering, with an M.B.A. in Executive Management from the University of Minnesota — The Carlson School of Management. She has worked and lived in Japan, Indonesia, France, and the U.K. Amy speaks fluent Japanese and English and has a working knowledge of French.
